Ground address and travel directions

Dukes Park is situated in the town centre. At the railway crossing, turn left at Higgs & Barker car showroom onto Moorfield Road. The clubhouse is at the end of Moorfield Road car park. There are green parking bay’s designated for free of charge parking for users of the cricket club.

The Cricket Club was established in 1820 and is one of the oldest established cricket club’s in Yorkshire, cricket having been played at Dukes Park for more than 100 years.

Bridlington Cricket Club is a founder member of Bridlington Sports and Community Club (BSCC) which was established in 1997 to draw together five existing sports clubs to further encourage participation in sport in Bridlington.

Bridlington Cricket Club runs two senior Saturday teams, one Sunday team and has a vibrant junior section.

1st X1 plays in the Hunters York and District Senior League

2nd X1 plays in the Readers Scarborough Beckett Cricket League

Sunday X1 plays friendly matches

Junior cricket is played at under 15, under 13 and under 11 in the Derwent Valley Junior League.

The Club participates in the ‘Chance to Shine’ programme and the club’s coaches in partnership with the Yorkshire Cricket Board deliver coaching to primary and secondary schools in Bridlington as part of the school curriculum and After School Clubs.

The Club also host finals and semi-finals of local league knockout competitions at Dukes Park.

Outdoor nets are held early season for the seniors and during the whole season, coaching is provided for the juniors every Friday evening throughout the summer.

Bridlington C C is an affiliated member of the NCA and is an ECB Clubmark Club and has achieved ERCAS Level 2 from East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Off the field, the Club is administered by a General Committee of 12 members and sub-committees who oversee the various aspects and management of the Club. Members are elected for a 3 year period and the posts of Secretary and Treasurer are honorary positions; there are no paid administrators or players.

We have a constitution that is the foundation of the Club and guarantees our policies such as offering cricket to people of all ages, gender, ability and ethnic background.
