Travel Directions

North Marine Road - Enter town via either a170 or A64 to town centre, turn left at traffic lights near Stephen Joseph Theatre. At next lights (Police Station) turn right into Victoria Road and on to Castle Road. Straight on at next lights then left into North Marine Road (B1364); ground is on left opposite Cricketers PH. Parking - turn left through main gate, park on top of Popular Bank.

Scarborough College

On main A165 Filey Road on Western side adjacent to the Hull University Scarborough campus and the Scarborough Sports Centre.

Scarborough Cricket Club was formed in 1849, took over the tenancy of the ground in 1863 before purchasing in 1878.

Records show that Scarborough Reserves played in the Beckett League before 1931, rejoining the League for 1946 after cricket was abandoned due to the outbreak of the 2nd World War. Membership continued until the 1983 season.

Scarborough 3rd X1 were promoted from the Derwent Valley League for 2003, playing at Hackness, gaining the Division ‘D’ championship but were relegated after 2006. The 3rd X1 are welcomed back for 2010, gaining promotion from the Derwent Valley League and playing at Scarborough College.
